Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Integrate and configure Shopify apps and third-party plugins.
- Work on Liquid /theme to build responsive and engaging storefronts.
- Implement Shopify Checkout Extensions, Functions, and metafield/metaobject logic.
- Work on Shopify Admin API / GraphQL API to manage orders, products, and customers.
- Optimize website for performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during UAT or post-deployment.
- Maintain and upgrade existing Shopify codebases without breaking existing features.
- Participate in code reviews, document features, and follow Git workflows.
- Stay current with Shopify releases, best practices, and ecosystem trends.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- 3+ years of experience in Shopify development.
- Strong proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, SCSS.
- Familiarity with Shopify Flow, custom apps, webhooks, and App Proxy.
- Experience integrating ERP/CRM/loyalty systems with Shopify.
- Solid understanding of eCommerce UX, SEO best practices, and accessibility.
- Good knowledge of Git, debugging tools, and agile development methodologies.
